Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), private consumers have 14 days from the date of delivery to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email info@samonde.com with your order number, and we will send you the standard withdrawal form together with return instructions.

Warranty on tested parts

Our parts carry a functional warranty of between 14 and 30 days, depending on the item. The great majority of our stock is professionally removed from working machines, then inspected, bench-tested where applicable, and photographed before listing. Selected refurbished items carry extended coverage — the exact warranty period is stated on the individual product page.

Legal guarantee of conformity (EU consumers)

EU consumers additionally benefit from the statutory two-year guarantee of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771. This statutory right applies in addition to, and is not limited by, our commercial warranty.

Business customers (B2B)

For business purchases, returns are accepted for items that are defective or not as described. The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to business-to-business transactions.

Damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged, contact info@samonde.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of both the packaging and the damaged item. Please retain all original packaging until the matter is resolved.

How to start a return

Email info@samonde.com with your order number and a short description of the issue. We will issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number before you send anything back. Returns received without an RMA number may be delayed.

Return shipping costs

  • Defective or not as described: Samonde covers the cost of return shipping.
  • Change of mind or incorrect order by the customer: the customer covers the cost of return shipping.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of our receiving the returned item, to the original payment method used for the order.
